Canyon Vista Neighborhood
Welcome to Canyon Vista!
We are a friendly neighborhood of 97 homes that was created in 1999. Located at the base of the majestic red cliffs of the Colorado National Monument, our neighborhood is known for our green open spaces, walking paths and unobstructed views of the Monument and Bookcliffs.
Our HOA is comprised of a volunteer board that manages our open spaces, provides irrigation water, collects dues, oversees landscaping changes to residences and administers the budget. We're always happy to answer questions, email us at HOAcanyonvista@gmail.com or send your inquiries to us at PO Box 4035 GJ, CO 81502.
A few highlights about our neighborhood:
A copy of the covenants are located on this website. Please review them as you consider purchasing in this neighborhood or making changes to your property. There are also minimal fees associated with paperwork generated by the HOA for the sale of Canyon Vista properties. HOA Transfer fee for the sale of a property is currently $100.
Changes to the exterior of your home, landscaping, new structures or addition to the existing structure or lot require approval from the Architectural Control Committee. This includes landscaping, trees, fencing, sheds, painting, decks and pools. Please see the section on this website about the Architectural Committee for the form and instructions.
Please follow the Canyon Vista Irrigation schedule, this ensures we have enough water for all homes:
Addresses ending with an odd number: water on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Addresses ending with an even number: water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
No watering with irrigation system on Sundays. You may use a hose or a hose end sprinkler on trouble spots.
